Who is it for?
This tube is the go-to replacement for 29" mountain bikes (29ers), 28" hybrid and road bikes, and 27.5" (650b) bikes where a wider width range is needed. Its compatibility across three wheel sizes makes it a practical spare to carry on longer rides — particularly useful on Peak District trails where you may be far from the nearest bike shop.
Will it fit my bike?
Check two things before ordering:
- Wheel size — look for "29"", "28"", "700c", or "27.5"" on the sidewall of your tyre
- Valve type — Schrader valves are wider and shorter, like a car tyre valve. Presta valves are narrower with a locking nut at the top

How to fit it
- Remove the wheel and deflate the tube fully
- Use tyre levers to unseat one side of the tyre
- Remove the punctured tube
- Lightly inflate the new tube to give it shape
- Seat the tube inside the tyre, starting at the valve
- Reseat the tyre bead by hand — avoid tyre levers if possible
- Inflate to the pressure marked on your tyre sidewall

Does this tube fit a 700c wheel?
Yes — 700c and 29" share the same ETRTO diameter (622mm), so this tube fits both. The difference is in tyre width: 700c road tyres are typically narrower (23–32mm), so check the width range before ordering. This tube suits wider 700c tyres (47mm+) and 29" MTB tyres.
Can this tube fit both 29" and 27.5" wheels?
Yes — this tube is compatible with 27.5" (584mm), 28" and 29" (622mm) wheels, making it one of the most versatile tubes available. Ideal as a trail spare when you want one tube to cover multiple bikes.
What is the difference between Schrader and Presta valves?
Schrader valves are wider and use the same mechanism as car tyres — any garage pump will fit. Presta valves are narrower with a locking nut and require a Presta-compatible pump head. Check your current tube or wheel rim before ordering.
What tyre widths does this tube fit?
This tube fits tyre widths from 1.90" to 2.28". It is not suitable for very narrow road tyres (under 1.75") or very wide plus tyres (over 2.35").
Is this tube suitable for e-bikes?
Yes — this tube is suitable for standard e-bikes with 29" or 28" wheels. For heavy-duty e-bike or cargo use, a reinforced tube may offer better puncture resistance on longer daily rides.
