Who is it for?

This tube is the standard replacement for 27.5" (650b) mountain bikes and hybrid bikes. If your bike has 27.5" wheels and a Schrader valve, this is the tube you need. The 27.5" wheel size is common on modern trail and enduro MTBs, and many mid-range hybrid bikes sold in the UK from 2015 onwards.

Will it fit my bike?

Check two things before ordering:

• Wheel size — look for "27.5"", "650b", or "27.5 x" on the sidewall of your tyre
• Valve type — Schrader valves are wider and shorter, like a car tyre valve. Presta valves are narrower with a locking nut at the top

This tube fits tyre widths from 1.75" to 2.35". If your tyre reads 27.5 x 1.95, 27.5 x 2.10, or 27.5 x 2.25 — this tube fits.

How to fit it

1. Remove the wheel and deflate the tube fully
2. Use tyre levers to unseat one side of the tyre
3. Remove the punctured tube
4. Lightly inflate the new tube to give it shape
5. Seat the tube inside the tyre, starting at the valve
6. Reseat the tyre bead by hand — avoid tyre levers if possible
7. Inflate to the pressure marked on your tyre sidewall

Common questions

What is 650b — is it the same as 27.5"?
Yes. 650b and 27.5" refer to the same wheel size. The ETRTO standard calls it 584mm. All three names describe the same diameter — you may see any of them on your tyre sidewall.

What is the difference between Schrader and Presta valves?
Schrader valves are wider and use the same mechanism as car tyres — any garage pump will fit. Presta valves are narrower with a locking nut and require a Presta-compatible pump head. Check your current tube or wheel rim before ordering.

Will this tube fit a 27.5 x 2.35 tyre?
Yes — 2.35" is within the 1.75"–2.35" width range of this tube.

Can I use this tube on a hybrid bike with 27.5" wheels?
Yes, provided your hybrid has 27.5" (650b) wheels and a Schrader valve rim. Check your tyre sidewall to confirm the wheel size before ordering.

What is the ETRTO size for a 27.5" tube?
The ETRTO equivalent for 27.5" / 650b is 584mm. If your tyre shows 584 on the sidewall, this tube is correct.
